Danube River - Uniworld European Rriver Cruises

Few journeys are more endearing than traveling on the rivers of the world.  In 2006, we booked a European River Cruise traveling along the Danube River.  We embarked on a one-of-a-kind trip through the great capitals of Central Europe,  with storybook villages and majestic cities to explore. The Tiny baroque village of Dürnstein seems lost in time.  It is perhaps most famous for the landmark for holding Richard The Lionhearted hostage during 1192.  Dürnstein is also known for its fine white wines and the most mouth-watering apricots...and did I say architecture?
